Bear Cove
On September 20th, 2003 we undertook an overnight hike out to Gulls Cove and Bears Cove carrying only what was in our backpacks, which was actually a fair bit. We stopped around Gulls Cove around noon for lunch. It was a very hilly grassy area with good scenery and a small beach. After lunch we proceeded down to Bear Cover where we set up our tents for the night. Not everybody had tents, one person slept under a plastic tarp and the evening was so nice another slept in his sleeping bag just under the stars. After supper we walked a couple miles up the beach, we found a snake, or "A Fred named Snake" and it was our first real backpacking trip and we learned alot of what and what not to take for the next time.
Here are some photos of our trip.
